Buffalo Days and Nights by Peter Erasmus

When Peter Erasmus, multi-lingual translator, buffalo hunter, guide, schoolteacher and more, was 87 years old, he told the story of his life. Buffalo Days and Nights is the transcription of that story. Erasmus lived and worked at Victoria Settlement for many years and his recounting of life here is fascinating and colourful.

Buffalo Days and Nights is available at the Victoria Settlement Provincial Historic Site gift shop for $30.
